What did I learn in 2021?
I learnt how to live with the pandemic, a global stench of panic over one’s life.
I learnt patience and the parable of the snake, biden its time to make its feast.
I learnt kindness and how one single act can create a butterfly. 🦋
I learnt what it meant to be truly successful..or as I like to call it — XXXXXX
I learnt how easy it is to outsource some choices to fate and will it to be.
I learnt how to fail.
I learnt how to grow a company.
I learnt the worth of an ape and a story.
I learnt the value of money and what N500 means to the average Nigerian.
I learnt the value of my time and who I choose to spend it with.
I learnt about love and how we sometimes speak our own love language instead of listening for our partner’s.
I learnt the meaning of Defi and how web3 and decentralization will quite literally change the world.
I learnt attention and its deficits, on dealing and feeling, on learning and relearning.
I learnt of betrayal and its piercing scream.
I learnt the art of not having a take — of letting the crowd pass over you.
Like Moses in the old testa-ment.
But this time, instead of the angel of death.
It is the demon of distraction.
I learnt the essence of friendship and how to take a step back to breathe.
Most importantly, I learnt.
